Job Description:
Join our team at Allyson Brooke, Inc. as a Fabric Folder and play a crucial role in our production process. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure that our bedding products are carefully folded and packaged according to our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Fold fabric and finished bedding products, such as sheets, comforters, pillowcases, and other related items, according to specified guidelines and instructions.
- Inspect folded products for defects, such as wrinkles, uneven folds, or damaged fabric, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Package folded products neatly and securely, following packaging standards and procedures to prevent damage during shipping and storage.
- Label packages accurately with product information, including size, color, and quantity, using appropriate labeling equipment or tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including folding tables, storage shelves, and packaging materials, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as sewers, cutters, and inspectors, to maintain smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
